After being honored with the German Entrepreneur Award 2018, this year we are climbing the summit of Europe! oculavis GmbH is finalist of the EIT Digital Challenge of the European Union and belongs to the Top 5 Scale-Ups in the category "Digital Industry". The winners will be selected on 6 November 2019 in Brussels after a personal presentation to a top-class jury of experts.
This once again underscores our leading role in the field of remote service solutions for machinery and equipment manufacturers. This nomination as a finalist could not have been better in terms of time either, as we are currently pushing the expansion of our sales network on our home continent and beyond as part of our support with the SME instrument of the European Union amounting to EUR 2.5 million.
About EIT Digital Challenge
The EIT Digital Challenge is taking place for the sixth consecutive year and focuses on deep tech scale-ups with a differentiated product offering that leverages sophisticated, difficult-to-reproduce digital technologies that drive digital transformation. The finalists were selected from nearly 300 applicants from all across Europe. For the first time, companies from Iceland, Israel and Switzerland are also in the final. Two winners in each category will receive an award and a one-year €50,000 EIT Digital Accelerator grant to expand their business in Europe and beyond. The main winners of each category will receive an additional cash prize of €50,000.
